MAGDALENA'S
Magdalena’s is a tribute to Chef Juan Rodriguez’s grandmother of the same name. He is fusing her generations old Central Mexican recipes with his traditionally trained French techniques to produce dishes that speak both to her heritage and traditions What I wanted to convey with this mark was a blending of those two worlds both rustic and traditional but executed for a modern audience, a visual metaphor of grandmother and grandson to form one message. The chicken is in tribute to the generations old folk art of the Otomi people of Central Mexico where Magdalena was from.
